Graduated in Computer Science from Universidade do Oeste Paulista (2002), Master’s in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics from University of São Paulo (2005) and PhD in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics from University of São Paulo (2010). He is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Computing at the Federal University of São Carlos. He has experience in the area of Computer Science, with emphasis on Computer Architecture, High Performance Computing, Heterogeneous Computing, Embedded Systems and Compilers, working mainly in accelerating applications in FPGAs and GPUs, both for large applications and for embedded systems.
